Sheepshead Club Badges
Little tags ride along next to a player's name at the table. Most tell you something about the hand in front of you; a few are honors earned over time. Here is every one, shown exactly as it looks on the felt.
At the table, this hand
Transient. These appear and clear as the hand plays out.
D
Dealer. This seat dealt the hand; play starts to their left.
picker
Picker. Took the blind and is going for 61, usually with a hidden partner.
partner
Partner. Revealed as the picker's secret ally, once the jack of diamonds or the called ace hits the table.
BLITZ
A doubling declaration by the picking side: the picker as they take the blind, or a non-passing partner after the bury. The label is whatever was shown: BLITZ, INDIAN BLITZ, JOHNNY BLITZ, or SHEEPSHEAD. Stakes go up.
CRACK
A non-passing opponent cracked, doubling the stakes. One crack per hand: the first to take it settles it for the defense.

A non-passing opponent cracked while showing a complete queen pair or three jacks, for four times the stakes instead of two.
RECRACK
The picking side doubled right back: the picker or a non-passing partner. With a queen pair or three jacks shown it reads BLITZ RECRACK ×4. One recrack per hand.

This player has chosen to leave when the current hand ends.

Dropped connection. Their seat is held while they come back; the badge pulses until they do.
Momentum
These come and go with results. A streak earns one; the next hand can take it away.

Won the last hand with a schneider, 91 points or more.
GUTTED
Schneidered on the picking side last hand.
SNAKEBIT
Lost the last 3 hands as the partner. Blame the pickers.

12 hands without picking once. Somebody is mauering.

Lifetime hands played, for registered players. New and Rookie are a welcome, not a target; everybody starts here.

Under 25 hands. Fresh to the table.
Rookie
25 hands in. Getting the feel of it.
Regular
100 hands. A familiar face.
Sharp
1,000 hands. Knows the game.

5,000 hands. A serious player.
Legend
10,000 hands. One of the all-time tablefuls.
Status and honors
Earned, and kept. These travel with a player from table to table.

The trophy. Reigning Club Night champion, until the next event crowns a new one.
HOF
Hall of Fame. A past Club Night champion: the trophy fades after a week, but the HOF mark is forever.
